The band was formed as The Black Faces in 2011 by Jemina Pearl, Ben Swank and Chet Weise. Their first public appearance was on 11/11/11 at The Black Belles record release party at Third Man Records in Nashville, TN. Some time later the band was renamed to Ultras S/C. Beside their physical releases they posted the song "Black Face Time" on their Soundcloud page on Jul 6, 2012.
