Album US 2002 on Tray Full Of Lab Mice label

Unbunny's low-fi acoustic tunes about love and loneliness are bound to recall the Mountain Goats' work, but Analog's frequent lapses into silliness (and sped-up, off-pitch vocals) drop most notions of earnestness in favor of a semi-surreal approach to the genre. Some of the album's goofier moments are a tad insipid, but there's something about Analog's odd combination of sounds that makes other segments far more enjoyable than one might expect.
