This album is released by the courtesy of Rescue Charity Organisation in aid of the Parking Children. From the liner notes: "Undugu Beat 75 issue their first album in aid of the Parking Boys of Nairobi. They do so because they know from their own experience what it means to be a child of poor parents, or having no parents and no regular education at all. Some of them are former parking boys themselves. The first members of the group met since 1972 in Mathare Valley, the greatest slum area in Kenya. They borrowed box guitars from a lame shoe maker, became friends, and practiced together. Father Grol met them there and helped them to start the group and to play in hotels and even embassies."
