Artist Portrait

Uutiset Ja Sää

Band, FI
Alternative

A proto punk band from Salo, Finland. The band played shows locally in 1976 to 1978 but never entered the studio. Their single was culled from the rehearsal tapes and released posthumously in 2016. "New Rose" was recorded in July 1977 which makes it the earliest Finnish punk rock recording ever released. The members of the band went on to gain further notoriety in seminal Finnish punk bands Vaavi, Pupukuusikko and Se.
