These guys were from Teresina in the very poor province of Piaui in the North East of Brazil. They founded VENUS already in 1982, and played first only cover songs. Soon they started with own material and played a lot live. In 1984 they could play at the "Festival Setembro Rock" in front of 2000 people! In 1984 the guitar player Ico Almendra joined. In 1985 the first 6 track demo is recorded. But they looked for a more aggressive singer (till then guitar player Thyrso was singing), and they found Kleber (ex WAGARK). They started with recording of the first album in 1986, and the new singer left them, so Thyrso had to do it again. Later Joao Filho joined to take the job on the mikrophone. With him they travelled for promotion to Sao Paulo and played 2 shows, which were even filmed officially! In 1986 they played again at the big local "Festival Setembro Rock", with A CHAVE DO SOL, MEGAHERTZ and others.
