Established in late 2007, Vae Victus is a Marxist themed martial industrial project. The first demo released for free was apolitical and neoclassical martial in style with some vocal work. Shortly afterwards Vae Victus teamed up with Durch Heer und Kraft and released a split album May 1st, 2008 that sold out. This established the tone of Vae Victus; noisy, barren, political, atmospheric martial industrial with an emphasis on speech sampling.
