A.k.a. Вадим Васильевич Борисовский
Vadim Borisovsky (1900–1972) was a Russian classical musician, performer on the viola and the viola d'amore, music educator. People's Artist of the RSFSR (1965) and laureate of the first degree Stalin Prize (1946). Vadim was one of the founding members of Beethoven Quartet and played in the ensemble until 1964. Dmitri Shostakovich dedicated his Thirteenth Quartet to Borisovsky.
