VagusNerve is formed by Li Jianhong (Guitar) and VAVABOND (Laptop) in late 2006. Both of them are enthusiasts of psychedelic music of 1960s and 1970s, at the same time sharing great interests in the cosmos, ghosts, UFOs and various mysterious things. It is very interesting to listen how they combine all these things with their music. The universe they built from their music is not a deadly quiet scene, but full of mega information from all aspects of the universe. VagusNerve reform a new space of their own from those information junks in the form of psychedelic noise. Their first album LoPan, being released by Utech Records, was inspired by the symbols and characters on Chinese Lopan. The second album of VagusNerve, Too High to Die, was a psychedelic trip over one hour. Their third album, Back to the Serius is on the way now. No matter in recordings or in lives, VagusNerve is a band full of improvisation and power.
