Mezzo-soprano singer, trained in jazz and improvised music, actress, composer and soundpainter. Valentine Quintin has worked in the vocal group Métropolygammes led by by Jean-Claude Briodin, has sung jazz standards with Bibi Louison, Alain Guittet, Olivier Sens, and originals with Laurent Cugny, Pierre-Olivier Govin, Olivier Chabasse Pascal Reva, then with François Popineau, Georges Beckerich... She also had her own bands "Kay Desbrum’s", "Valentine's Zoo" and "Valentine Quintin Quintet" and two duos of improvised music ("Phare Ouest", soon changing its name to "Ecoutille" with Raymond Mauger, and Duôse with Fred Wallich). Since 2006 she practices intensively multidisciplinary composition live (Soundpainting) in two large formations "Spoumj" directed by François Jeanneau and "Klangfarben" by François Cotinaud.
