Compil. CA 2013 on GBS Records label
Alternative (Avant-garde, Black Metal, Doom Metal, Industrial, Noise, Space Rock)
Notes: This collection of lost tracks and other curiosities are what is left from the Seirios recording sessions and the ones that followed after, for a tentative follow up album. We had 34 songs written and recorded for consideration of inclusion on Seirios. We lowered this down to 24 songs and aimed at doing a double album, but due to financial constraints, we lowered it down again to the total of songs now on the final version (13). That left us with 21 songs, some very good ones, left behind because they didn't fit the concept of space and emptiness, others that were bad and one or two who were downright shit. Sadly most of this stuff was lost when Kenny's hard drive crashed and with it the only versions of theses songs we had stocked somewhere. A mere 3 songs is what's left. Most of the songs included here is stuff we wrote after finishing Seirios, intended for a new album, that never saw the light of day. We got caught up on getting ready for the Seirios live shows and other bands/side projects/life took over for the last 7 months. We just got feed up with the work load of producing, writing, recording, editing, mixing, art working and releasing a project that at some point included 34 songs... Long debates over track listing, endless mixing sessions, and everlasting editing. But at same time it was one of the most creative period as we where coming at the end of a 2 full length and 3 e.p run in under a year, and just finished recording a 34 song album/project. So right after putting the final touches on the album we started demoing some ideas for a follow up, it follows the same plotlines as Seirios, Morriconne-esque guitars and droning keyboards/synths/sampling. We also included a few remixes intended for the remix album project, for now shelved. So this is it, all that is left we'd deemed good enough to see the light of day. 101 minutes of space themed droned out spaghetti western on P.C.P. Hope you enjoy, VF _______________________________________________________________ -Following the light of the sun, we left the Old World. — Inscription on Columbus' caravels -The Universe, so far as we can observe it, is a wonderful and immense engine; its extent, its order, its beauty, its cruelty, makes it alike impressive. — George Santayana, The Life of Reason, 1916. -Perhaps, as some wit remarked, the best proof that there is Intelligent Life in Outer Space is the fact it hasn't come here.
