Double LP set featuring both the two previously released Valkyrien Allstars albums 'Valkyrien Allstars' and 'To Måner' in there entirety. Valkyrien Allstars are a folk-music group consisting of three young Norwegian musicians all in their twenties. Coming from the eastern part of Norway they all play the national instrument the nine-stringed Hardanger Fiddle with Tuva Livsdatter Syvertsen as lead vocalist. Their music is rooted in traditional Norwegian music, but they have given this sound a new dimension and created a contemporary folk music that mixes styles and genres. They enjoy experimenting with music from other categories and cultures. In this way they succeed in taking folk music a step further and can be recognized as avant-gardists in their field. An example of their willingness to cross boundaries is their brilliant version of the Norwegian rock-legends Jokkes & Valentinerne's classic "Hvis jeg var deg".
