Single NL 1972 on Philips label
Blues, Spoken Word and Soundtrack (Comedy, Spoken Word)
This version is a label variation of this version, which has a large, die-cut spindle hole, whereas the version in this submission has a solid centre piece which can be punched out if need be. Also, the font used for "45" printed left on the label, is bold (or fat), while on the other version the letters are thin [see and compare images]. Full single is mastered in stereo, with each of the two characters clearly panned to either the left or right channel. Issued in generic sleeve. Promotional, single sided single for the Dutch wine brand Carp. With this release, Carp promotes the fact that it was one of the first brands to distribute wines in cardboard, cube shaped containers instead of bottles. Text, in Dutch, on cover reads: "Carp heeft weer iets bijzonders onder de kurk: White Gold Sherry op 45 stereo-toer en.... in blocpak." The dialogue is written and performed by Dutch comedy duo Kees van Kooten en Wim de Bie.
