Vasudha Harte

Australian musician, songwriter and poet based in Byron Bay. Vasudha has performed extensively as a solo musician around Australia and Asia, launching her debut CD in 2003. A singer, guitarist and pianist / keyboard player, with many different ensembles, she has supported Australian jazz veteran Don Burrows and Gong. She has performed and recorded with artists such as James Cruickshank (Cruel Sea), Louis Burdett, Fantuzzi and Daevid Allen. Also an actor and musical director for many Byron Bay theatre productions, she composed arranged and played music to the words of Shakespeare, Lewis Carrol, the Capek brothers and others. Also a radio presenter on Bay FM community radio Byron Bay since 1998 with Jem Edwards who she also performs with in the Dinkum Bohos.
