Members: Stanton Warren, composer, guitar/vocals. Ben Sebastian, drums. Alan Silverman, drums. Ash Umhey, guitar/bass. Venture Lift arose from the imagination of Stanton Warren, an original member of the Canadian Shoegaze and early drone group Inner Sound Accelerator (ISA) who performed between 1995-1999 in St. Catharines and Toronto, Ontario. A native of New York State. After the breakup of ISA he began recording original material, releasing demos "Music for the Forgotten Ones" on DIY tape in 2001 and as "Astropod" electronica DIY CD in 2002 both re-mastered and released for a limited time on the bands bandcamp page. Venture Lift's debut LP-CD entitled “Futuretoreal" (2007) and the follow-up "Tower of Spacious Karma" (2011) were released on the Detroit space rock label Mind Expansion Records run by Randall Nieman of the group Füxa . "A Room In A Grand Hotel" released in (2014) was recorded and produced by Ted Orr and Stanton at Sertso Studio in Woodstock. Stanton was also recently one half of Avondale Airforce releasing a full length LP and CD in 2012. 2017 brings the return of Venture Lift's fourth full length LP "Street of Mirrors" which features the guest vocals of Karen Schoemer on the track "Bessie Echo Blues". "Street" was recorded and mixed by Ted Orr and also mixed and mastered Eli Winograd at Line Pine Road studio. The album also features the artwork of James Marsh.
