Musician of Rock, R&B/Soul, Blues and Pop
Victory was a Christian rock band, based in Williamsport PA. They were distinguished by a unique mix of progressive rock and traditional black gospel and blues idioms. Guitarist Tom Ritter had prior experience in prog-rock bands and was a disciple of Genesis and Yes. Bassist-keyboardist-singer Janice Todd (originally from Detroit) was a worship leader in a "black church," but her tastes ran to classic rock, blues, and even Celtic music. In the late 90s, they formed the band, composed songs, and recorded demos. Their best known recording is 1999's LOOKIN' FOR A SAVIOR (produced by Johnny J. Blair).
