Vida-Sunshyne began performing professionally at the age of 15 in 2000, supporting the likes of Lucky Dube and Burning Spear. She then spent the next two years performing with a long time local Melbourne reggae band. She is quickly becoming recognised as Australia's top female dancehall artist, blessed not only with a stunning voice and melodic ingenuity, but also boasting extreme versatility as a rapper and singjay in hip-hop, dubstep and dancehall styles. As a live performer she is in a class of her own - explosive, passionate, commanding, and above all entertaining
