The Villains are LATE, IMD, Tricksta and Profesah 194. They got together in 1996 through a love of hip-hop and three years later dropped their debut single "UK Sound" on December 6th 1999. The single was well received and gained support from Galaxy FM, Home-grown Entourage, Urban Vibes FM, Juice FM, Itch FM, and BBC Radio One, as well as most of the pirate stations. This track also got licensed to a compilation album called '100% UK Hip-Hop' which was released on SSR/Crammed Discs. The album also features MOBO award winner Roots Manuva, Yogi and Aspects.
