Vin Medbury

A.k.a. Vinton W. Medbury, Jr. Uncle Vinty

Comedian, magician, performance artist and keyboard player from Rhode Island USA. Brother of drummer Ted Medbury with whom he performed together in The Ascots (5) and The Movies (5). Vinton traveled the country performing a one man show from his van known as, The Creampuff. In the early 1970's he relocated to San Francisco CA and began performing under his stage name Uncle Vinty before settling in Milwaukee WI and performing with the band Those Xcleavers together producing an upbeat new wave version of The Supremes' "Where Did Our Love Go". In the mid 1970's Vinton got involved with The Movies (5) and produced a TV show. Vinty continued his one man show touring the country until his death in 1994.
