"Vincent Frank was born in Opelousas, Louisiana, on May 27, 1920. He has lived in Houston's Third Ward since 1943 where he has worked as a wallpaper hanger and as a housepainter. But Frank is perhaps best known for his accordion playing. Billing himself as 'Blues Boy Vincent,' he could occasionally be found in various wards performing as a one man band.
