Album 2004 on Vinyl Candy Army label
Rock and Pop (Indie Pop, Power Pop)

Vinyl Candy is a Southern California indie rock outfit with features a richly talented young quartet whose seamless sound welds a mix of influences from The Beatles to Jellyfish to Oasis to Butch Walker. July of 2009 ushered in the release of Vinyl Candy's second album "Land". A concept album which takes the listener on a whirlwind journey from one rock stars rise to demise. Currently Vinyl Candy is preparing their 2009 Tour of Southern California in support of the release of their second effort "Land", as well as producing a third Vinyl Candy record slated for release in 2010. It was in the spring of 2003 that Jim Leber first joined forces with singer/songwriter Matt Corey. Jim asked Matt to add some Vocals to some of his demos that he had been working on. What happened next was nothing short of devine musical combustion, the combination clicked and Vinyl Candy was born. Jim then brought together long time friends, Micheal Wessner on drums, Justin Brinsfield on Bass, and Bill Devine on Lead Guitar. The result is Vinyl Candy, Twelve original songs that announce, in no uncertain terms, the arrival of a young band with a very promising future indeed. From the evocative opening notes of “Too Late”, to the vivid imagery of “California”, to the resonant emotional pitch of “Stay”, to Power Pop classics like "Tranz Am" and "Heather", Pacific Ocean Park is an album that celebrates the enduring values of heartfelt songwriting and consummate craftsmanship in a collection of songs that seems certain to land Vinyl Candy a place among the very best of tomorrow’s rock originals. On the wings of their success, Vinyl Candy is now finishing their second album titled “LAND”. This much anticipated sophomore release will be sure to drench audiences in their Psychedelic Power Pop Rock. www.vinylcandy.com Standard jewel case with clear tray
