Album US 2002 on In The Bubble Music label
Electronic (Minimal, Ambient)
First collaboration betweeen Chris and Vir Unis since the 1997 recording of "Imaginarium" An abstract drift album dedicated to the collaborative work of Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Gauguin when they lived in Arles, south France. The approach for the overall sound of the album was to mirror the vividness of Vincent's paintings. It crosses musical boundaries somewhat with more appearances of figurative instrumentation. A combination of traditional drift and more pronounced gestures. The music was done with a tonally brighter, clearer palette. Mixed at Jupiter Studios. Mastered In The Bubble.
