DC/Maryland punk band active in 1988-1989. Was formed when drummer Bruce Taylor (Beefeater, Hate From Ignorance) met guitarist Will FitzHugh via a newspaper ad and started jamming at Bruce's place in Rockville. They quickly added Phil Kasiaras on bass and Gerald Johns on vocals and wrote over a dozen songs. Will wrote most of them but Phil wrote 'Meat Machine' and Bruce wrote crowd-pleasers 'Binge Purge' and 'Read My Lips', and 'FOGHORN' pretty much just wrote itself. They self-released a four-song EP 'Arachnid Man' which was recorded at Inner Ear Studios. In 2014 they released a compilation CD of all their songs (from demo tapes, practice tapes, show tapes, etc.) following the untimely deaths of both Phil and Gerald. Bruce and Will are still active in MEATBOT.
