Visiting Kids could be seen as a fresh and fun kind of side project by Devo's Robert Casale, Bob Mothersbaugh, Mark Mothersbaugh and David Kendrick, with their wifes & daughters ... But is actually an artistic project by Nancye Ferguson and Oscar Mitt, concept began in 1983 when artistic-partner Oscar Mitt read Nancye Ferguson a crumpled New York Post and spotted a headline, Visiting Kids Terrorize Home. Oscar Mitt told Nancye Ferguson that that would be a good name for a band. Shortly after, Ms. Ferguson was approached by a young girl who dreamed of being in a rock band.
