British composer, conductor and band leader, born in Jabalpur, India on 24 December 1908, known mostly for his involvement as music director for the Royal Marines. His father was military Bandmaster W. J. Dunn His full title "Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Vivian Dunn KCVO OBE FRSA", Mr. Dunn died in Sussex, England on 3 April 1995.
