Tchaikovsky Concerto was recorded on August 1949. Rachmaninoff Concerto was recorded on August 1950. Liner notes in English. The notes appeared in an earlier version in the December 1989 issue of Gramophone. Note: This CD was mastered from lacquer discs, not tape. Some sruface noise and other minor sonic problems could not be eliminated in the digital transfer process.
