Formed in November 1999 by Riccardo Conforti (drums, keyboards and drones) and Ivan Zara (guitars and bass) with the intention to combine epic atmopheres, dark ambient and industrial elements with doom metal. During 2000 Malfeitor Fabban (Aborym) joined as vocalist on "Toward th Dusk" and "Criteria ov 666". In September 2002 A.A. Nemtheanga (Primordial) (Primordial) replaced him and joined the band for "Human Antithesis". Nemtheanga has been replaced in the summer of 2009. During 2007-2010 Void of Silence have composed the new album "The Grave of Civilization". Brooke Johnson (Axis Of Perdition) is the singer on this work. The band is currently completing the composition of the fifth album "The Sky Over" scheduled for the spring 2018 with LS (8) (Luca Soi ex Arcana Coelestia) as new singer.
