An electronic/EBM group featuring the duo of Arno Peeters & Tibor Fülöp, both students at the Centre for Electronic Music (CEM) in the Netherlands during the late '80's. Although strongly influenced by the first acid-house that reached the European mainland, it was meant to be an Electronic Body Music project. The duo recorded two 12" singles on the Antler Subway label: 'Force D'Inquisition' in 1990, followed by 'Antithesis Song' in 1991. Tracks from these singles were featured on many EBM & Techno compilations of the early '90's. Arno Peeters recorded a final full length album under the moniker Voltage Control for Antler Subway, 'To An Undefined Public', this time without notable involvement from Tibor Füllöp. From that point Peeters became more and more influenced by 'streetmusic': electro, hip hop, dub and acid/house and tried to invent new styles and methods which finally drove him into the arms of techno. Unable to cope with the demands from the label due to successes of the New Beat compilations making Antler a temporary 'major' label, Peeters abandoned the Voltage Control project and switched labels to Djax-Up-Beats.
