Alfred Vrazel and his cousins started a band in 1953 called the Vrazel's Playboys. Alfred and his brother soon changed the name of the band to Vrazel's Polka Band and their brother Lawrence Jr., joined them playing drums for the next 12 years. In 1958 They moved to Houston and played at Bill Mraz Dance Hall. The band lasted until January 24, 2009.
