VRUJA (formed in 2001) is a musical group, which continues the tradition of the musical groups from the Slovene Istria and which have had a great influence on the increased knowledge and popularization of the musical heritage of Istria in the latest decades. The group's name is of a dialectic origin and it means "source", "spring". Members: Marino Kranjac - vocals, violin, bagpipes, mandolin, sopele, guitar Alenka Kranjac - vocals, wash-board Rok Kleva Ivančič - violin Peter Kaligarič - accordion (from 2004) Gabrijel Križman - guitar, mandola, vocals (from 2005) Gorast Radojevič - small two-stringed basset, electric bass (from 2007) Ex members: Luciano Kleva - violin, flute, mandola, lute, sopele, mih, clarinet (died in 2003) Matija Solce - accordion, darbuka, vocals (2001-2003) Mirjana Gvozdenac - accordion (2003) Štelijo Reja - Istrian two-string bassett (2001-2006) Luka Čibej - bassett (2006-2007)
