Vytautas V. Jurgutis is truly an exponent of a new type of multi-faceted artists. A showman, presenting his works in multimedia settings, doing himself multiple real-time video projections, or, as in his most recent interdisciplinary dance performance Time Line (2006), generating a multidimensional artistic language which involves human body movements, kinetic scenography, ultra-precise laser projections, and digital visuals. Jurgutis is also a composer of solid academic background, employing vast modernist heritage of advanced instrumental writing.
