Wade Bernard was born in Thibodaux, Louisiana and grew up in Golden Meadow along Bayou Lafourche 50 miles South of New Orleans. He moved to Nashville in 1981 where he joined up with Grand Ole Opry Star Jimmy C. Newman and Ronnie McDowell touring the USA and overseas. Wade has recorded with various Cajun and Country artists as well as his own Cajun French music CD's. Wade has been nominated by the Cajun French Music Association for Best Cajun Vocalist in 2001 and 2002.
