Made in Sweden on some and some without MIS on labels NCB on both labels Recorded at the same session in 02.1936 Mustalainen was composed by Elemér Szentirmay, published in Hungary 1875. After the second world war Szentirmay got his rights to Mustalainen which earlier were thought to be a Hungarian folk melody. In 1913 the Finnish composer Oskar Merikanto made an arrangement for piano; Mustalainen, Op.22 No.1. Tonerna, is a poem by Erik Gustaf Geijer from 1829. As a song it's most known in Carl Leopold Sjöberg's version, but is also composed by the author himself, and has been in many Swedish films. Composed by Sjöberg in 1901; Allegro moderato b-minor.
