American jazz violinist, violist and composer. Born : February 23, 1903 in Brooklyn, New York. Died : February 06, 1992 in Thousand Oaks, California. Walter played with "CBS Radio Orchestra", "Hartman String Quartet", Jack Teagarden, Ethel Waters, Bunny Berigan, Victor Young, Smith Ballew, Paul Whiteman, "NBC Orchestra". Subsequently played on recording sessions for Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Gordon Jenkins, Billy Eckstine, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Roy Rogers, Louis Prima, Peggy Lee and June Christy.
