Walter C. Kelly (1873–1939) was a famous monologist who performed mainly in vaudeville and then, later in life, turned to the dramatic stage. He specialized in dialect humor. His most famous routine, "The Virginia Judge," featured a variety of southern dialects and was recorded for Victor in a multi-part series. Kelly was the brother of the Pulitzer Prize–winning playwright George Kelly and the uncle of the actress Grace Kelly.
