(b. 20 November 1890 Berlin - d. 22 July 1954 Lake Placid, NY, USA) German pianist and orchestra leader (Kapellmeister). Replaced Erwin Bootz on the piano for the Comedian Harmonists from January-August 1931. Emigrated to the United States and became a naturalized U.S. citizen in Dec. 1946.
