Husband to Lorraine Scott Best known for composing the country classic "Burning Bridges", a hit for Jack Scott in 1960 (no relation between the performer and the writer). Other noted versions are Jan Howard's (1967) Glen Campbell's (1968) and George Jones (2)'s (1983).
