Band, *2012
Rock and Blues
Waltrapa & The Cashmakers was born in 2012 in Girona to bring a strong momentum to the country's blues and rock scenarios. It is a power trio that plays classics of blues, rhythm'n'blues and rock'n'roll in the style of Texas. That's why the style of this band is Texas Blues. Crude and electric guitar, torn voice, powerful bass and dragged shuffle rhythms to the drums. This is the attitude of these three cats on the stage: a trip to the heart of black electric music. The best-known references of Waltrapa & The Cashmakers are the great figures of the electric and black blues Freddy King, Albert King, Albert Collins and Buddy Guy, of whites and jeans Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Nick Curran and Shawn Pittman , or the immortal Jimi Hendrix. In his direct, though, there can always be a surprise for the delight of the respectable. Members Walter S.
