A.k.a. Raymond Watts Mr. Watson Pig
Watts is a one-off band-name used by Raymond Watts. The album "Pigmartyr" originally began as Pig's follow-up to 1999's "Genuine American Monster". However, the songs took on a heavier, more guitar-driven sound. The line-up also adjusted, with all previous Pig members becoming full time members of KMFDM and Watts bringing on Arianne Schreiber and Martin Eden for the recordings. Upon completion of the album, Raymond decided that the material should be released under a new alias and redubbed the project Watts. However, the album suffered a highly botched release by the record label and dissolved. In 2005, the material was moved back under it's original Pig name, taken to Metropolis Records and retitled "Pigmata," featuring a remaster, new artwork and additional tracks.
