Wayne Cochran (born 1939, Thomaston, Georgia, USA – died November 21, 2017, Miramar, Florida, USA) was an American soul singer, songwriter, and producer. He was known for his outlandish outfits and white pompadour hairstyle. In the early 1970s he retired from music to become an evangelist minister in Miami, Florida.
