We Are Scientists is a New York City-based indie rock band that formed in Berkeley, California, USA, in 2000. It consists of guitarist and vocalist Keith Murray and bassitarist Chris Cain. (Former members include guitarist Scott Lamb, 2000; drummer Michael Tapper, 2001- 2007; and Andy Burrows, 2009-2010.)They have also starred in their own series of comedic television shorts, Steve Wants His Money, made for MTV UK in 2009.
