"Weather Update was a short-lived band formed by Zawinul in 1986 following the breakup of Weather Report. The lineup included former Weather Reporters Victor Bailey, Peter Erskine and Robert Thomas Jr., as well as guitarist Steve Khan." It can be regarded as a precursor to The Zawinul Syndicate.
