Weave was formed in 1995 in Queensland, Australia. Towards the end of 1996 Chris Rostron replaced Dave Pincott as drummer and Rachel Taylor took on Weave management. At the end of 1998 Luise decided to leave the band and Nick Maskell joined as the new bass player. Weave played their last gigs at the Candle Concerts in 2002 but with a stand-in drummer in place of Chris who was in Canada. The last gig with the full line-up was late 2001 at Ja-Ja's in Brisbane.
