Weezer/Homie bootleg from Boston at The T.T. Bears November 21, 1997. According to Weezerpedia, this is the second ever (and last?) Homie show. This is when they were talking about/working on a Homie album and doing try outs for Homie and for a replacement for Matt Sharp. This was before Matt officially left Weezer, but they were still looking for a replacement for him. Mikey Welsh may have been playing at this show as he was playing with Rivers for at least some of the 5 Boston shows that they played during this period. The set list is a mix of Weezer and Homie songs with some additional country songs that were not intended to be released under either name. The final 2 tracks are strange takes of In The Garage and Buddy Holly that were not part of the show and probably recorded much earlier since Matt is present on them. Buddy Holly replaces a lot of the lead guitar with what was probably his Casio MT-205 or some other cheap Casio keyboard. There is a very interesting version of The Good Life on this which uses the intro chord progression for the verse and the pre-chorus and features an organ solo. There is a comical amount of typos all over the CD packaging.
