A.k.a. Daevid Allen Weird Quartet
This band started in 2002 after Daevid Allen and Michael Clare had contributed to a few tracks on the Spirits Burning's "Reflections In A Radio Shower" album with Don Falcone. Listening back to the recordings, Michael found that they had a special quality, a real chemistry. He proposed to Don to make an album, just the three of them and a drummer. Daevid Allen called the trio "Weird". Trevor Sabatelli soon joined on drums, and the band was renamed "Weird Biscuit Teatime". They completed the album DJDDAY in 2005 from material provided by Don Falcone that the other shaped and reshaped into something different. Then, they recorded another album in studio, and remotely over a period of several years, from their different corners of the world, bringing in Paul Sears when Trey was unavailable. Their second album Elevenses was credited to Daevid Allen Weird Quartet and released soon after the death of Daevid Allen.
