Comprised of members Bob Kimbell (vocals), Nick Rudd (guitar), Rick Schattnik (bass), and Kenny Golub (drums), Over the years, various other members have come and gone (including Charlie Dold and John Richardson (5) and lots of guest appearances (Jay Bennett, Lynn Canfield, Tim McKeage, Adam Schmitt, etc). Weird Summer has been compared to such acclaimed country rockers as Neil Young and the Byrds. The group has issued several albums, including 1995's Cry for the Moon, 1998's I.S.O. (In Search Of) and 1999's Incarnata Mysterica, the latter of which included vocals from Kimbell's pal, Jack Logan.
