Please note: the Band "Wendy & Lisa" was founded in 1987 , until then they are individual band members of The Revolution and should entered separately with ANV The childhood friends Lisa Coleman & Wendy Melvoin, both from musical families, became members of Prince's band The Revolution and appeared in the movies "Purple Rain" & "Under The Cherry Moon. After Prince had disbanded The Revolution they formed the duo Wendy & Lisa. Meanwhile they build up a second foothold by writing/recording the music for various film & TV productions like NBC's "Heroes", or Showtime’s "Nurse Jackie".
