Wes Boatman is a composer, producer and recording artist from Cincinnati, Ohio and Los Angeles, California, now residing in Brooksville, KY. He holds a B.F.A. in Film and Electronic Music from the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. Wes has excelled in live and studio keyboard performances, production, and synthesizer programming for national acts that included Walter "Junie" Morrison, The Ohio Players, George Clinton & the Parliament Funkadelics, Bootsy Collins, Malcolm McLaren, Heatwave, Sun, Slave, Roger & Zapp, Lakeside, the Dazz Band, Midnight Star, Dayton, Melba Moore & many more. Wes has performed on 4 Platinum and 5 Gold albums, and has toured the world as a full member of the Ohio Players from 1980-1985. In the late 80’s, Wes continued to broaden his musical horizons and became one of America’s most successful TV music composers. Wes underscored music for a long list of national network and syndicated shows which included As The World Turns, Guiding Light, Another World, Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous, All My Children, One Life To Live, Passions, Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, General Hospital and Friends. As a result of Wes’s highly acclaimed TV compositions and productions, he became the recipient of 27 Emmy Nominations and an incredible 9 Emmy Awards between 1991-2009!
