Wicked Jazz Connection is a project of the Amsterdam-based platform Wicked Jazz Sounds. The project really is about just that: connections. Traveling between many musical styles, countries and influences, the band takes you on a journey that spans funk, soul, jazz, afrobeat, house and hiphop. Fronted by the gorgeous and charismatic Berenice van Leer and backed by unstoppable forces Baraka G on keys and Leroy Rey on beats and electronica. It features collaborations such as: Bootie Brown (The Pharcyde) and Ursula Rucker (The Roots, 4hero and King Britt). This limited edition of 100 copies on black vinyl was made possible by Diggers Factory, a vinyl on demand platform producing records with the help of the community.
