Wiebe Hartog first recorded He recorded solo as "Wiebe" with ensemble Me & My Friends (including Dutch master-guitarist and member of popband Z.Z. & de Maskers). With Me & My Friends he also performed in musical "De Kleine Johannes", a musical composed by Astrid Nijgh, and words written by her husband Lennaert Nijgh after the book by that title writtten by Frederik van Eeden. This performance took place on 17, 18 and 19 december 1970 at the Stadsschouwburg in Haarlem on the occasion of 50 years jubilee of the Kennemer Lyceum at Overveen (near Haarlem) and was performed by pupils of that college. In the early 90's Wiebe was narrator and performed voices for so-called "sound-strips" of "Asterix" (1991) and "Suske & Wiske" (1992). In 2001 he rose to fame as Ab Normaal, the pink rabbit telling dirty jokes on television, at first for Yorin, than RTL 5, V 8, and Veronica util 2002. He returned in 2007 on channel Tien and later Comedy Central started broadcasting repetitions.
