Slowcore band from the UK The British band Wild Dogs in Winter formed in 2007 as the studio-project of Luke Payne and Rhys Baker. In late 2008 Luke and Rhys released their self-titled EP as a free download on Mine All Mine Records and a home made physical release through their own website. The EP quickly grasped the attention of FatCat Records and The Silent Ballet webzine with its mix of shoegaze, postrock, folk and electronics. With growing success the two Wild Dogs recruited three good friends to make their live show ambitions a reality. Since turning into a five piece WDIW have shared the stage with Library Tapes, Maps & Atlases, Maybeshewill, Picastro, Youth Pictures of Florence Henderson and And So I Watch You From Afar.
